VHP app presented at the White House at the SXSL Festival

Jean Rhodes and Nancy McNamara took the VHP app to Washington, DC to introduce the app to members of congress and attendees of SXSL.

“Veterans tell our nation’s story. And when our bravest men and women share their experiences, a grateful nation listens and learns. Using only my smartphone, the VHP App has enabled me to record interviews, collect all the forms, releases, tags, and notes, and then to submit the collection to the Library of Congress. I am grateful to UMass Boston’s Professor Rhodes and her sister for inspiring all of us to ask our veterans to share their stories.”
